CLARKS VEGGIES PACK
Problem: The COVID pandemic has deepened food insecurity across the united while simultaneously trapping the elderly in their homes.

Insight: Young people have the power to mobilise for the elderly, with many programs currently in progress.

Idea: Clarks will collaborate with Veggie Mijas, a food justice collective based in NYC with 11 chapters around the country. The Clarks x Veggie Mijas Wallabees will be constructed of vegan alternative leather, with two allover vegetable prints. Instead of a box, the sneakers will be shipped in a reusable cooler/backpack that can be used for food deliveries. 

Accompanying the release of the collaboration will be a companion app allowing customers to find elders and vulnerable people in their communities who need food support, with the box/backpack allowing them to complete deliveries in their area.
